Welcome to my last blog post! We're gonna discuss a highly debated topic as of late, the media! This chart is taken from the American Press Institute and the data represented shows the percentage that Democrats, Independents, and Republicans trust their media. This first pattern that I notice right away is that Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike all value the media they use most often compared to the "news media" in general. When asked if they thought the "news media" was moral, only 41% of Democrats, 15% of Independents, and 14% of Republicans agreed with the statement. That's a stark difference from when they were asked the same question, but in relation to the media that they use most often. The percentage of Democrats who agreed with the statement grew by 18%, Independents grew by 29%, and Republicans grew by 43%. This shows me that parties tend to trust their personal sources of media over the general "news media". ...
